Bidding farewell to John Sider after 15 years at Ben Franklin CNP
John Sider, vice president of business development for Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central and Northern Pennsylvania, is starting a new role as senior development officer with Mennonite Economic Development Associates, an Ontario-based nonprofit that provides financing and technical assistance to develop sustainable agriculture in developing economies around the world.


Ben Franklin Clients Generated $3.5 Billion in Revenue in 2024
“The more we invest in innovation, the better the outcomes,” said Ryan E. Glenn, Ben Franklin’s Director of Statewide Initiatives. “The formula works. These investments are growing our high-tech economy, building out our entrepreneurial ecosystem to attract the best and brightest, and creating the jobs of tomorrow.” The latest report comes as Gov. Josh Shapiro and the General Assembly try to negotiate a 2025-26 General Fund budget before the end of the fiscal year June 30.
