Ben Franklin Technology Partners Receive Funding Increase

A challenge grant of $16.4 million has been announced by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development for the Ben Franklin Technology Partners, the first increase in funding for the BFTDA in 13 years.

Each of the four Ben Franklin partners will receive $4,106,250 in funding.

The line item for the Ben Franklin Technology Development Authority (BFTDA), which funds BFTP, is included within the budget for the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), will rise from $14.5 million to $17 million.
